Leaked Specs Samsung Galaxy Nexus II – Codename Superior
It seems that the successor of the first Ice Cream Sandwich Samsung Galaxy Nexus – also the first smartphone runs Jelly Bean operating system – will join the android smartphone battle this year. The handset which possibly named Galaxy Nexus II is said on the way and even its specification and codename have been leaked – GT-I9260 Superior.
If we take a look at its codename – compared to current Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250 – the new Galaxy Nexus probably only comes with a minor improvement and it is confirmed by the leaked specs.
The leaked specs of Galaxy Nexus II Superior are said at least will feature -unfortunately still - dual-core A9 processor but cloaked at 1.5Ghz, improved both 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. Unlike the current Galaxy Nexus, the new Galaxy Nexus II will have a microSD slot. It will obviously run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating system from the day one. The rest specs remain same.
Samsung is not the only one to have Nexus device, LG and Sony are also said to release their Nexus smartphone this year named LG Optimus Nexus and Sony Xperia Nexus. No words on exact release date and price at this moment. Stay tuned for more Nexus update.
